Shin-Etsu participates in Operation Clean Sweep, an international sustainability program and one of the initiatives to stop the plastic pollution of the world's seas. The employees of our PVC factory work 24/7 to prevent emissions of PVC powder to the environment.
We keep our factory site clean according to the Japanese S5 method for order and tidiness. This strives for a tidy, well-organized and well-organized workplace.
At two loading points are bulk trucks loaded via a closed loading system. This prevents waste of finer powders. All our loading points will have this closed system by 2024.
