Environment

In addition to thoroughly reducing the environmental impact in the manufacturing process, the Shin-Etsu Group is striving to develop and sell products that reduce the environmental impact at the product usage stage. Therefore:
- We have installed an Environment Management System
- We respond to climate change by reducing our greenhouse gas emissions
- We strive for  Water Resource Conservation and Water Pollutant Elimination
- Our target is to achieve zero waste emissions

Social

The Shin-Etsu Group strives to give consideration to human rights in its business activities and to ensure fair procurement. The Group also focusing on the stable supply of high-quality, safe products. Therefore: 
- We have respect for human rights, the development of human resources and the promotion of diversity
- We give priority to employees and contractor health and safety
- We promote CSR procurement and the diversification of supply sources
- Work continuously on product quality improvements and product safety control
